Common Issues & Troubleshooting (सामान्य समस्याएं)

Kundali Generation Issues

Problem: "My Kundali is not generating"

  • Ensure you have entered the correct date of birth in DD/MM/YYYY format.
  • The birth time should be in 12-hour or 24-hour format. Make sure AM/PM is selected correctly.
  • Enter the full city name in the birth place field and select from the dropdown suggestions.
  • Check your internet connection — Kundali generation requires server-side calculations.
  • If the city is not found, try entering the nearest major city or district headquarters.

Problem: "My Kundali details look incorrect"

  • Double-check your birth time. Even a few minutes' difference can change the Ascendant (Lagna) and house placements.
  • Verify that the correct city was selected. Cities with similar names in different states may have different coordinates.
  • Our calculations use the Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) Ayanamsha, which is the most widely used system in Indian Vedic astrology. Results may differ from Western astrology calculations.

AI Chat Issues

Problem: "The AI chat is not responding"

  • Ensure you are logged in to your account. The AI chat requires authentication.
  • Check your internet connection. AI responses require a stable connection.
  • If the chat seems stuck, try refreshing the page and starting a new conversation.
  • During peak hours, response times may be slightly longer. Please wait a few seconds.

Problem: "AI responses seem generic"

  • Make sure your birth details are entered in your profile. The AI uses your Kundali data for personalized predictions.
  • Ask specific questions for more detailed answers (e.g., "What does my current Mahadasha indicate for career?" instead of "Tell me about my career").
  • The AI works best with questions about your birth chart, planetary periods, transits, and remedies.

Account & Login Issues

Problem: "I can't log in to my account"

  • Verify you are using the correct email address or phone number.
  • If you signed up with Google, use the "Continue with Google" button instead of email/password login.
  • Try resetting your password using the "Forgot Password" link on the login page.
  • Clear your browser cookies and cache, then try again.
  • If you are still unable to log in, contact us at support@cosmiastro.com with your registered email.

Problem: "I want to change my email or phone number"

  • Currently, email and phone number changes require verification for security purposes.
  • Please contact our support team with your current and new email/phone to initiate the change.

Payment & Booking Issues

Problem: "My payment was deducted but service was not activated"

  • Payments can sometimes take a few minutes to process. Please wait and refresh the page.
  • Check your email for a payment confirmation receipt.
  • If the service is still not active after 30 minutes, contact us at support@cosmiastro.com with your payment receipt or transaction ID.

Problem: "I want a refund"

  • Refund requests for consultations must be made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment if the service was not delivered.
  • AI-generated reports and digital products are non-refundable once delivered.
  • For refund requests, email support@cosmiastro.com with your order details and reason for the refund.

App-Specific Issues

Problem: "The app is crashing or freezing"

  • Update to the latest version of the app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
  • Ensure your device has sufficient storage space (at least 100MB free).
  • Clear the app cache: Go to your device Settings, then Apps, then Cosmi Astro, then Clear Cache.
  • Restart your device and try again.
  • If the problem persists, uninstall and reinstall the app. Your data will be preserved if you are logged in.
